Vestibular Rehabilitation

This is a specialized therapy intended to alleviate primary and secondary problems caused by vestibular disorders. It is an exercise-based program designed at reducing vertigo and dizziness, gaze instability, and/or imbalance and falls. The vestibular system can be compromised in many ways. Viral or bacterial infections can affect the vestibular system. We treat several conditions such as (but not limited to):

• Labyrinthitis
• Vestibular neuritis
• Meniere’s disease – and other disorders that affect the inner ear fluid levels
• Vestibular schwannoma (benign tumors)
• Mal De Debbarquement  syndrome
• Age-related degeneration can cause damage to the vestibular system
