Peripheral Neuropathy

This is treatment aimed at relieving pain, improving movement/ability, and improving strength. Treatments can consist of manual therapy, exercise, neuromuscular reeducation, modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, TENS, light therapy, balance training, and home exercise programs for stretching and strengthening. We treat several conditions such as (but not limited to):

• Diabetes mellitus
• Infections that cause neuropathy
• Medications that cause neuropathy
• Balance issues secondary to loss of sensation
